This class require you take the Beginner soap making class first.
Join us for the advanced class where you will learn advanced techniques commonly used to create elaborate designs in cold process soap making. You will choose from one of the following techniques: spoon plop or teardrop swirls.
We will demonstrate how to make a batch of soap, covering:
- The History of Making Soap from Scratch
- Basic Soap Chemistry
- Safety Precautions working with Lye (sodium hydroxide)
- Measuring and Mixing
- Soap Molds, Liners and other Necessary Equipment
- Demonstration of Making Soap
- Essential Oils andFragrances
You will make your first batch of soap, which you will take home for cutting later after it dries.
You will make 9 bars of soap. Light Beverages and snacks provided. 18 y/o and over.
The cost is $75 per person. Class is 2 hours. Class is held at our 2591 Clyde Ave Production Facility.
